Michael Staggers, MS, PT
Received his degree in Physical Therapy from WVU
in 1974, his Masters of Science degree in Exercise Physiology in 1982
and completed his requirements for his Certification as a Gerontology
Practitioner from WVU in 2002. He has served as Director of Rehabilitative
Services for Monongalia County Home Health Agency, served as President
of Monongalia Physical Therapy Services, Ltd. and was Assistant Director
of Physical Therapy at WVU Medical Center.
Currently he holds the rank of Clinical Assistant
Professor in WVU’s Physical Therapy Program. His areas of expertise
are in treatment of TMJ and rehabilitation
of shoulder injuries. His areas of special
interest are cervical and low back disorders and sports related injuries.
Michael is currently a member of the APTA, WV Chapter
of the APTA, Orthopedic Section of the APTA, Geriatric Section of the
APTA, Health Policies Section of the APTA, associate members of the
American Academy of Orthopedic Manual Physical Therapists and an active
member of the National Strength and Conditioning Association. |

William M. Rhodes, PT
A graduated from West Virginia School of Physical
Therapy in 1976. Bill began his career at Sacred Heart Hospital following
graduation and served as Director of Rehabilitation Services for 18
years at Sacred Heart. He continued his career at RehabSolutions for
5 years, performing contract physical therapy services at Potomac
Valley Hospital, Heartland Nursing Home, and Egle Nursing Home.
The final three years at RehabSolutions were
served as Clinical Director at McCoole Out-Patient
Clinic. Bill joined Progressive Physical
Therapy in February of 2000 at the Keyser Clinic. Bill’s
areas of special interest are post surgical
shoulder and knee rehabilitation, biomechanical
foot and ankle dysfunction, treatment of low back and cervical injuries
and treatment of benign paroxysmal positional vertigo.
He has served as a part-time lab instructor at Allegany
College PTA program. Bill is also an active member of the APTA and
a section member of Orthopedics and Sports Medicine. |

Eli W. Rhodes, MPT
A graduate of West Virginia University School
of Physical Therapy in 2003. Eli joined
Progressive Physical Therapy in September
of 2003. He completed internships at HEALTHSOUTH – Mountain
View Rehab Hospital in Morgantown, WV for in-patient rehabilitation,
Winchester P.T. & Sports Medicine in Winchester, VA for out-patient
rehabilitation, and Herrick Physical
Therapy Services in Petersburg /
Moorefield, WV for in-patient and out-patient rehabilitation.
Eli’s area of special interests are sports
related injuries and orthopedic rehabilitation
of the shoulder, knee, lumbar spine and
cervical spine. Eli is a member of the American Physical Therapy Association
and is working towards getting certified as a Strength and Conditioning
Specialist. |

Kevin W. Simpson, PTA
A graduate of Allegany College’s Physical
Therapy Assistant program in 1998.
Kevin began his career at Pendleton
County Nursing Home. He continued his career at the Extended Care
Unit at Sacred heart Hospital, for Rehab Solutions and for Herrick
Physical Therapy in Petersburg and Moorefield for two years.
Kevin joined Progressive Physical Therapy in June
of 2002 at the Keyser and Romney clinics. His special interests include
post surgical shoulder, knee rehabilitation and Sacro-Iliac dysfunction.
Kevin is also an active member of the APTA. |
