Eric Lawrence Achieved His Orthopedic Certified Specialist Certification

Progressive Physical Therapy and Rehabilitation Center is proud to announce that Eric Lawrence was recently certified as a Clinical Specialist in Orthopedic Physical Therapy (OCS) by the American Board of Physical Therapy Specialties (ABPTS). This specialist certification represents the demonstration of advanced clinical knowledge, experience, and skills in various areas of orthopedic Physical Therapy practice. Less than 5% of Physical Therapists achieve clinical specialization in any field. For Eric, achieving this distinction is the culmination of extensive clinical practice as well as a rigorous course of study. He is currently the only Orthopedic Specialist practicing in the Cumberland area.

“This certification process reaffirms my dedication to continuing to improve my clinical skills to better serve the people of Cumberland and the surrounding areas,” says Lawrence.

Lawrence joined the staff of Progressive in 2011 and graduated with his Doctorate of Physical Therapy from West Virginia University in 2010. He has interest in treating all orthopedic conditions, especially the shoulder, knee, elbow, and hip.
